Madonna has made over 50 music videos garnering 66 MTV Video Music Award nominations with 19 wins from 1984 to 2003 (more than any other artist in history).
Madonna has also performed seven times during the VMAS. Six of these performances were live at the VMA’s venues and one of them was a live broadcast satellite feed from Italy during her 1987 world tour “Who’s That Girl” (she performed “Causing A Commotion”).
